The National Institute of Economic and Social Research has found that Brexit has cost each household in the UK £600 a year. To put that into context that works out at £16B – almost twice what the Office of National Statistics says that the UK contributes to the EU.
David Davis also said yesterday in Parliament that they expect to employ another 8000 civil servants which will cost an extra £250M a year to employ. Every time he stands up in Parliament more money disappears into the black hole which is Brexit. So far we have spent 1/6 of our contribution to the EU and we’ve got another 18 months to go. The NHS is bleeding staff as the EU citizens go home, costs of imported goods are going up because of the fall in Sterling – the people who voted Leave weren’t told this – would they still vote the same now?
