The Culture Secretary has announced a ‘£15M boost’ for northern cities. Towns and cities will be able to bid for up to £4M via the Northern Cultural Regeneration Fund. It will be administered by the 12 Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP) in the north.

So that’s what the red bit on the map will get. Now the yellow bit called London has just been given £31B (2000 times what we’ve just been offered) for their new Crossrail project. The money for that has been found by cancelling the electrification of the TransPennine rail route. Oh, and don’t forget that the DUP got £1B to buy their votes.
Where is Rishi Sunak? Why isn’t he fighting for us? Oh I forgot. He’s a Tory and he’s more interested in his political career than representing our needs.
